Last month we had some questions on the Mono-to-stereo patch cable. So here is a detailed step-by-step guide on how to make your own. Hopfully this helps!
- Gather the following materials:
- Cut the patch cable in half.
- Cut one end off of the Stereo Cable.
- Strip the wires.
- Solder the white wires of the mono cables together with the bare copper wire of the stereo cable.
- Connect and solder the remaining 2 red and white wires. Red-->Red and White-->Red.
- Wrap the connection with electrical tape or heat the shrink.
- Test it out and make some noise!
