Quad Arpeggiator gives you four independent 16-step minor pentatonic lanes—always in tune, always hands-on.
Thanks! We'll email you when Quad Arpeggiator launches.
Quad Arpeggiator gives you four independent 16-step minor pentatonic melodic lanes you can shape in real time, so hooks, basslines, counter-melodies, and fills come together fast.
I never intended to make (let alone launch) a 4-Channel Arpeggiator. This started as a frankensteined Quad ADSR turned simple sequencer for a track I was working on. But upon first test. It was instantly clear. The prototype was an ABSOLUTE BLAST to make music with. Instead of staring at a DAW to create an original sequence, you turn a physical knob. Way faster, easier, and beautifully musical
My favorite part is a sub-feature. Pause the clock (long press the knob) and turn a knob to sweep through a minor pentatonic scale that's always in-tune. Have you ever heard a skilled pianist absolutely rip on a keyboard? It's kind of like that. Except you don't have to be good at keys, or music, or scales to perform an incredible solo.
Gate inputs are normalized forward until a cable is inserted. This makes it easy to keep multiple elements in sync for layered and rhythmic patches.
Quad Arpeggiator is built for modular players who want ideas fast. Instead of programming one line at a time, you get four independent melodic lanes that are easy to shape on the fly. The result is a module that feels playful enough to improvise on, but structured enough to turn into real recorded parts.
For studio musicians, that means less time drawing notes and more time capturing movement. Use it to sketch harmonized parts, build evolving patterns, push basslines against lead phrases, or play fills by hand while the sequence keeps breathing underneath you.
The four independent outputs make it easy to build call-and-response phrases, layered ostinatos, bass movement, and supporting lines from one performance surface. It is a practical way to find melodic motion quickly without theory paralysis or repetitive mouse editing.
Minor pentatonic note choices make this module feel forgiving in the best way. You can move quickly, reshape parts by ear, and stay focused on the track instead of stopping every few seconds to correct clashing notes.
One of the best parts of the concept is how easy it is to move from pattern-building into performance. You can solo on top of the motion, push a lead phrase by hand, then drop back into the groove without changing tools or losing momentum.
This is the kind of module that earns rack space because it helps ideas turn into tracks. It feels immediate enough to be fun, but useful enough to keep around once the novelty wears off. For studio-minded modular players, that balance matters.
Pair it with the MIDI to CV and Gate Converter if you want to integrate melodic ideas tightly with a DAW or other external MIDI sources.

A: The strongest fit is the studio musician who wants fast, hands-on melodic motion without getting trapped in piano-roll editing.

Our four previous KickStarters for the Quad ADSR, CV-DMX, Kickdrum Pro CV, Snare Drum Hi-Hat Pro CV were a huge success (Thanks!).
I'm Jake Lehotsky, and I know the frustration of having an incredible, unique sound trapped inside your head—only to be limited by the wrong piece of gear. Jake's Custom Shop started in 2016 with a focus on guitar pedalboards. 2019 brought Eurorack Cases. Modules followed in 2021. From the beginning my mission has been simple: to design gear that is more playable, more intuitive, and with MORE CV because nothing gets us more excited than seeing you finally hit 'record,' produce that absolutely insane track, and share it with the world.
After four successful Kickstarter campaigns, we're doing it again to fund components for Quad Arpeggiator. I loved hearing your feedback on the circuit and functionality, so keep the suggestions coming! For a nice early-bird discount you can back the project to be a part of something awesome!
Thanks!
